Thankfully being a woman is no longer about minding our Ps and Qs, yet many of us still need to pay particular attention to our Ps and Ms - namely our periods and menopausal symptoms which can bring great pain, challenge and disruption to our life, work and relationships.

Research shows that there are two key ingredients to being able to rise above the hormonal maelstrom and take control of our pre-menstrual and menopausal symptoms:

o      deepening self-awareness and self-communication

o      having compassionate support and understanding

Being a Woman is a unique blend of workshops, activities and ‘me' space to help you find an holistic and respectful way to improve your monthly and/or menopausal experience.  We work with you to:

  • Become more aware of the impact of the changes that are taking place in your body and give creative expression to them
  • Listen to and identify what your body needs at theses times
  • Build powerful conversations and ways of communicating about your individual and shared experience
  • Visualise your ideal cycle and help you take steps to achieve it
  • Develop a practice of self-communication through journaling to enable you to chart your cycles

The retreat includes accommodation, all the workshops, a body-work class and healthy meals on a full-board basis from Friday dinner through to Sunday lunch.
